remind me to tell you sometime why I couldn’t get up
without heaving myself and pushing
every joint through its motion
remind me to tell you sometime how I cried
in the dark by myself
remind me to tell you about the night when
autumn had finally arrived and the house lay open.
When I walked out from the shower, sat in my towel
